I am interested in using wireless networking for scientific data acquisition on a variety of projects--including bioacoustics, ice-field monitoring, snow depth monitoring, etc.

I've got an AP in the Valley setup, and I hope to be getting some links up into the icefield (to cover the lower part of Mendenhall Glacier and all of Lemon Glacier) this summer (2004).

My little brother is Ben Heavner.
